My card was sold, and to someone from my city too.
Thank you all for your support.
If you too want to help save the animals victims of the Gulf oil spill by buying an artist card, go to The Ripple Blog to read how.

Ripple
Although I'm sitting on my suitcases I could not resist taking part in the Illustration Friday Challenge this week - Ripple.
The Ripple blog was started on the 45th day of the Deepwater Horizon Catastrophe. The oil spill in the Gulf is now over 50 days old with no sign of stopping. We may be too small as individuals to do some grand gesture- but together our small gestures can be grand.
This week's Illustration Friday topic is "Ripple" we are creating a small 2.5" x 3.5" sketchcard. The subject should pertain somehow to the Gulf - the oil spill - the oceans and the creatures that live in it and around it.
These will be made available for a small donation of $10.00 to either The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (http://www.imms.org/) or The International Bird Rescue Research Center (http://www.ibrrc.org/).
I do not have a scanner any more, so I had to take a photo of my card, I hope you can imagine how much nicer it looks in reality.

Moving
Hi all.
I am moving house/country/continent/hemisphere, and today we put the computer in a box.
I still have the laptop to get messages and check your blogs, but will not be able to scan or use my graphic programs.
I hope to be up and running again within a month, and not to go crazy by then.
Thank you for your support.

Orange
Posted for One Powerful Hour challenge - I Love that Color But Never Use it
I love a lot of colors, and I use them and also the ones I don't love that much, in my work, and there is no one color that I can say I don't like (although I don't like neon colors).
If you look at my work, It is usually either very colorful or monotonous.
I tried to think which of the colors I love don't get as much representation in my work, and I choose orange, the much loved son of Red and Yellow.
Here in a simple collage made on an old picture I took while touring in Austria, big spreads of orange shows how strong and effective it can be while staying warm and friendly.

In The Land Of Golden Dreams
Posted for Created By Hand challenge - Connections or Circles
I made this collage a few years ago for a collage swap on swap-bot.
I thought this challenge will be a great opportunity to present it, as it fits the Circles theme in the design, and the Connections theme by revolving around 3 sisters.
