Black & White Galore

I post this ATC for the Theme Thursday challenge - Beauty. I like working with buttons, I think of them as jewels or small works of arts, I also found the nude lady to be beautiful too, and I do like the feminine body, but it is here because of my love to the white and black colors.

Maybe the name Black & White Glamor would suit it better, but I decided to stay with the original name.

I love working with black and white. If you look at my other posts you will see I enjoy drawing and illustrating using only black thin pen. In this ATC there are more shades to these two colors, that make it more rich, even though it is pretty simple.

Seven Stars Night

This ATC was created as an original tarot card. It is one of four cards and was the last one to be made.

I post it here as a part of the One Powerful Hour challenge - Silhouette, although draw it a while ago. It is fairly simple, but it did took me around an hour to make.

The door at the background is from a photo I took, and I used it as inspiration. I started thinking who lives behind it and what is their story. I kept this collage fairly simple because I did not want to give to much clues, but allow you to invent your own story for it and for this couple.

My daughter saw me working on the computer and wanted to make pictures like me. She draw a girl, and together we painted her. This is what we made:

My son wanted to join in, and draw the girl a husband. Here they are together:

Ashly and Jonathan by the way are the names the kids named the girl and boy they draw. The dogs' name is Fluffy.

I really liked this picture, The kids hair and cloths look like mum tried to dress them nicely for the photo, although they don't look reach, but they played up to the last moment, hence all the wrinkles.

They also look to me like very good friend, and that they thought to make a special pose for the photographer.

I think maybe they are trying to hold a smile, especially the boy.
